Maribago Bluewater Beach Resort Summer Escapade

(Cebu Bloggers' Society invades Maribago Bluewater Beach Resort)
Cebu, Philippines- At around 3 o'clock in the afternoon 3 vans came at SM-North wing to fetch us. As we arrived at the Maribago Bluewater Beach Resort, we were welcomed by the resort manager and staffs. We're being provided with ID's. I was astonished when they gave us shell-necklaces and I felt like VIP(sorry feelers ra kau ky first tymer man gud..hahaha). A free drink of lemon juice after half an hour of travel really paid off.

And then, the violence began(CBS camwhores now rollin'..hahaha!). Ms. Noreen Yuson, Maribago Bluewater Beach Resort Manager, lead us as we roamed around the resort. First stop, Amuma Spa and suites with a swimming pool, yoga lessons, arnis and healing session. It is known for its "traditional hilot".

Our next stop, shark's feeding area. Then, we went to Deluxe rooms, convention hall, beach front swimming pool, premiere deluxe rooms, juice bar, the cove(seafood restaurant), and lastly to the Maribago Bluewater Beach Resort's upper conference hall.

We've met the resort's management team and staffs. They offered us some sweets and a cup of coffee.

We were given the opportunity to ask questions to the management team. I've learned a lot about the company through that open forum. Here are some important information I'd like to state:

1. Maribago Bluewater Beach Resort is keeping up their socio-responsibility to the host community. The manager said that Maribago Bluewater is supporting the construction of some public school buildings and they are also providing medical assistance to the residence of Maribago;
2. Maribago Bluewater Beach Resort has its own waste-water treatment facility which recycles the water in their three pools around the Resort. This is one way of conserving the mother earth;
3. To maintain Maribago Bluewater Resort's competitive advantage, continuous improvement(kaizen) is being practiced by the management. They said, development of the resort is made frequently. The main purpose for this is to offer their guests a new and exciting face of the resort that they can enjoy from. They are currently constructing an Italian Restaurant to cater guests of their Italian food cravings. They already have a plan of reconstructing the pool near Amuma spa.
Another thing, Maribago Bluewater Beach Resort is not accepting undergraduates. They recognized the sacrifices of people who struggled a lot just to finish their studies that is why they are giving chances to college graduates(rather than undergrads) to be employed in their Resort.

Isn't it interesting to discover these facts?

After that interesting meet-up and conversations with Resort's management team, we were allowed to enjoy the Maribago Bluewater Beach Resort's beach and pools. Sad to say, I wasn't able to swim and enjoy the bluewater of Maribago Bluewater Beach Resort because I wasn't able to bring swimming apparels. Some went swimming and some of us just stayed at the beach front chit-chatting and cam whoring(I really had fun with this..lol).

After awhile we were called by Sir Ruben of Pinoyworld for a dinner at the convention hall. It was a barrio fiesta so it means huge variety of foods(pakalz..haha). I immediately picked up my favorite shrimp and lechon baboy(hehe). There was also a cultural show which entertained foreign guests. They even tried dancing our own "Tinikling" and they really enjoyed it. Eating delicious foods while being entertained is not that bad idea(nyahaha).

Unfortunately, the end had come and we had to go. We left Maribago Bluewater Beach Resort Resort at about 8 in the evening. It was really fun-filled experience at Maribago. I have shown the pictures of Maribago Bluewater Beach Resort to my Ate and Tita and I guess they considered it as one of their choices where they will going to stay during their vacation on September.

I would like to give my heartfelt gratitude to Maribago Bluewater Beach Resort's PR Ruben Licera of Pinoyworld and Maribago Bluewater Beach Resort's management( specially Mngr. Noreen Yuson) and Staffs for that big summer blowout to Cebu Bloggers' Society.
