Right after the Baclayon, we went straight to the Alburquerque Zoo in Sta. Filomena, Alburquerque, Bohol. It is where the world's longest and biggest Python in captivity is located. Prony is a 25-foot long and 200 kilo in weight. It was captured last 1996 and named after his captor and owner Safronio Salibay.
Though Alburquerque Zoo is just smaller than any popular Zoo but it houses several kinds of animals such as Leopard, Palm Civet-Cat, King Cobra, Iguana, Owl, Ostrich, Bald-headed Eagle, Birds, other species of snake and other animals. Entrance Fee is only Php5.00 and you may donate (optional) a small amount for the feeding of animals and maintenance of the Zoo.
